Mife in All 50 Logo

“Mife” (pronounced “MIFF-ee”) is mifepristone, a safe, FDA‑approved abortion pill used for over 25 years. Science shows it’s safe. Healthcare providers say it’s essential. Anti‑abortion politicians? They’re trying to take it away.

Say it with us:

Mife belongs in all 5O states.

Mailbox

Anti-abortion extremists won’t stop trying to go where they don’t belong: into our healthcare, our mail, and our medicine cabinets. They are ignoring public opinion and attempting to enact a national ban on medication abortion through any means possible playing political games with our health and lives.

Join us to defend Mife in All 50. Tell Trump: Don’t fall for these extreme arguments—no national ban on medication abortion care.

Keep National Abortion Bans
Out of Our Mailbox.

Junk Science Junkyard

Anti-abortion politicians, judges, and lobbyists are at it again pushing bans and bogus strategies to block access to a safe, FDA-approved medication abortion. Here’s what they’re up to now.

Weaponizing the courts against patients

Anti-choice Attorneys General Lawyer Up

  • Remember AHM? A lawsuit anti-abortion advocates filed to try and get mifepristone removed from the market TWENTY-FIVE years after the FDA approved it? Well, it’s baaack.
  • Anti-abortion extremists are re-upping the same bogus arguments to get mifepristone off the market, or back under lock and key.

Political theater over proven medicine

Act to Throw Shade At the FDA

BILL NO.:
H.R. 685
SPONSOR:
Rep. Robert Latta (R-OH-5)
  • Prohibits the FDA from updating labeling for medication abortion
  • Bans mailing prescribed medication abortion to patients
  • Disproportionately harms individuals in rural or underserved areas
  • Prevents the FDA from approving any new medications for abortion care

Medication Abortion Ban

BILL NO.:
H.R. 629
SPONSOR:
REP. ANDREW OGLES (R-TN- 5)
  • National ban on medication abortion
  • Imposes severe penalties, including up to 25 years in prison
  • Disregards decades of scientific research and medical consensus

Slap a Sticker on It and Call it Science

BILL NO.:
S. 1631
SPONSOR:
Rep. Josh Hawley [R-MO] (116th-119th)
  • Forces the FDA the implement unnecessary restrictions
  • Disregards decades of scientific research
  • Opens the door to frivolous lawsuits

Flooding the FDA with misinformation

Back to the Bad Old Days

  • Anti-abortion lobbyists want the FDA to roll back commonsense safety updates from 2016 and 2021 and slap outdated restrictions back on mifepristone. Science says “no,” but they’re allergic to facts.
  • They’re also asking the FDA to outlaw getting abortion pills by mail or telehealth because in their world, expanding access to healthcare through telehealth is fine for literally everything except abortion.

Political Pen Pals

  • Representative Josh Hawley, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and red state AGs are swamping FDA with junk science about mifepristone in stunts for the anti-abortion fan club.

Stupid State Sh*t: Hall of Shame

🗑️🔥 Forcing Doctors to Lie

  • Kansas (HB 2353): Threatens providers with losing their licenses if they don’t tell patients that medication abortion is reversible (spoiler: it’s BS).

🗑️🔥 Criminalizing Free Speech

  • Texas (SB 2880): Blocks and criminalizes online information about abortion in the entire state

🗑️🔥 Felony Charges for Pills

  • Oklahoma (HB 1168): Giving someone a safe, FDA-approved pill? Congrats, you’re now a felon.
  • Tennessee (SB 194): Mailing medication abortion? That’ll be $5 million in penalties, please.

🗑️🔥 Cancelling Telehealth

  • Maine (L.D. 886, H.P. 572): Bans telemedicine for medication abortion and forces doctors to lie. Efficiency at its worst.
